Feel sort of like the news guy, if it ain't bad news we don't broadcast it.
All is as well as can be expected. D. is home, taking solid foods and resting up. She is up and around, the only upset tummy that I hear about is when she has to take her meds.

Too funny. I was just thinking what in the H was that s supposed to stand for :)
Just checking in. Tomorow is the great race - so wish all of us new yorkers good luck. Its a race betweem tyna connor and I - so I will keep you posted as too who comes out ahead. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

To all:
Deana is back in the hospital. Her headaches from the spinal tap would not go away. We took her in yesterday for a daily lukaine shot and the headache worsened. The doctor gave Deana a new pain medicine, an bag of fluids, and knocked the headache down to zero. Deana went home and was good until about 1600. Then the headache came back and could not be controlled by pain medication. Deana slept poorly, woke up and attempted to take a hot shower. Apparently when you have a headache a hot shower is not a good thing because Deana's headache escelated until she threw up from the pain. We took her into the hospital for another daily Lukaine shot and the hospital decided to keep her until we can figure out the headaches. By now everyone who is not a pharmacist is wondering what a Lukaine shot is. First I dont think I am spelling it right, but is basically an immune booster to help Deana's white blood cell count get higher. Deana is doing well, but then so would I if I was just given enough pain medication to subdue a large elephant. She is sleeping. Last but not least for the so called athletes in New York, if I lived closer none of you would stand a chance! :) Have a good run.
