DOGS

I was out riding last night, got about 3 miles from the house and hear all this noise, barking, yipping and such. I look up and here is this guy kicking at these three (3) dogs. Behind him is this lady hollering "lovely" at the top of her lungs. I decide that an about face is in order. One of the dogs "lovely" decides I am a better target than the other guy. I decide that kicking and pedaling at the same time are not something I can do. "lovely" comes close enough to get a foot in the face. NO bites. However the guy that was kicking at "lovely" did get bit. "lovely" turned out to be the dog's name, LOVELY??. Makes mace seems like a good idea.
I hope you are all right, did you report the dog?

Yes and yes. The owner is keeping the dog for 10 days and then putting him down. Apparently I was the first one he bite, but they also want me to be the last. And yes besides my calf being sore and all bruised to hell, I am ok.
Mace might be in order. Ronnie carries something specifically for dogs. It has quite a reach and mostly pisses them off long enough for you to get out of dodge. An about face - you crack me up daddy.
Keep up the biking though - its fun isn't it? And I'll be damned if some stupid dogs will stop me from exercising. They might make me nervous when I see one but ...... I should get some of the stuff myself. I'll try to drum up the name of it and let you know.
